I found this pic to be funny since I too am an asthma sufferer….funny thing is, alot of people who have asthma can tolerate smoke better than people who DON’T smoke. Also, some people who have asthma are the most passionate of smokers; ask DMX…..it does feel very weird being a smoker who has asthma, almost sinful although you do know your limits. Unhealthy indeed; but I speak on behalf of the occasional smokers with asthma when I say that we do know our limits.
For all the MJ fans like me, can’t wait to check this out on Turkey Day!

Records: Baptizm
A couple of years ago, a good friend of mine (Zaquan) & I were in Bushwick, just brainstorming over a bunch of beats he made. I’ve always had deep conversations with Zaquan about life & music and it just so happened that I started going through a shedding period in my life. Family members began passin away, friendships & relationships began to change and/or end…..needless to say, I had alot of living to do. Alot of emotions to work through….
Due to this, I took alot of time off from being on the “scene” to get myself re-centered…work on projects behind the scenes (check our releases at http://realphreshmusic.bandcamp.com), travel and collaborate with new Artists.
Time away from something or someone you love can be very healthy. During that time off I wrote “Baptizm” as a testament to the renewal I felt was needed not only in my own personal life but also in the music industry. You all know the state of the industry & the continuing struggles independent artists & labels face….everyday.
So with that, I say “Baptizm” is a song that is broader than the religious association with the word; but more of a “do-over” for all that could be better in the music industry.
